Our Stay at The Towers at Pacifica at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort in Cabo, Mexico
A couple of months ago Nick and I decided that we needed some time away. Like many of us, we hadn’t had a vacation in over a year. Plus, we had been stressing about trying to get pregnant for months and wanted to take our minds off of it for a few days. So, we started looking into all-inclusive resorts in Cabo, Mexico. I reached out to Pueblo Bonito to see if they might be interested in working together and I was pleasantly surprised when they said yes!
They offered to host us for two nights at their all-inclusive resort, The Towers at Pacifica at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort. When you stay at The Towers you have a 24-hour butler who can help with anything you need – making dinner reservations, restocking the mini bar in your room, reserving a daybed on the beach, and much more. You also have access to the VIP Lounge when staying at The Towers. During whale season you can whale watch right from the large outdoor balcony in the lounge. We ate breakfast in the lounge and stopped by for some snacks and drinks each day.
Our Activities and Meals
During our stay, we dined at several restaurants located at different Pueblo Bonitos. That’s the other great thing – when you stay at a Pueblo Bonito resort, you have access to all of their sister properties. They even provide a free shuttle service to take you from one resort to another.
Here’s a breakdown of what we did while at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, including the different restaurants we dined at. Each meal was amazing and by far the best food we had in Cabo.
Day 1: Check in to The Towers at Pacifica at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort
We arrived at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica around 2:00 pm and immediately went on a tour of the hotel. After the tour, we checked into our room, changed into our swimsuits and spent a couple of hours at the pool. It was pretty low key at that point in the day so we ordered a few drinks poolside and lounged around.
Night 1: Dinner at LaFrida Pueblo Bonito Sunset
Pueblo Bonito offers a couple of fine dining restaurants at some of their sister properties. There is an upcharge of $30 per person to eat there – and it’s worth every penny! We dined at LaFrida, which is located at Pueblo Bonito Sunset, our first night and it was the best meal (and service) we’d had in a long time. Even the bread service was incredible – and I know good bread. Nick got the barbacoa and we both agreed it was the best we’ve ever tasted.
To end the meal, we ordered the Mexican coffee and watched the server create a masterpiece with fire, sugar, tequila, coffee, and more. It was delicious!
Day 2: Daybed on the Beach at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica
Our second day at The Towers at Pacifica at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort was our only full day there. We spent the day on a swinging daybed on the beach and it was magical. It was a much more relaxed vibe than the pool. It was quiet and the breeze pretty much rocked us to sleep.
We also had a cocktail making class at our daybed. The staff rolled out a portable bar and made us several different cocktails from scratch, explaining what was going into each and how each ingredient paired well together. It was super fun!
Night 2: Dinner at Quivira Steakhouse
We went to dinner at the Quivira Steakhouse on our last night in Cabo. Again, the food was amazing and so was the service! We sat outside with views of the golf course, and both enjoyed a filet mignon. Quivira is another one of the fine dining restaurants so the same upcharge of $35 per person applies to this restaurant.
Day 3: Time to go Home
On our last day at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, we didn’t have much time since we were flying out that afternoon. But we made sure to have a good brunch before we left! We ate at Pacifica’s onsite brunch restaurant, Siempre. On Sundays they have a massive brunch buffet with pretty much anything you could ever want!
Our stay at The Towers at Pacifica at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort was amazing. We felt so spoiled the entire time we were there – between our 24-hour butler, the amazing service at the restaurants, and access to the VIP lounge. We hope to go back one day!
xoxo,
