Amazon Prime Day: Top Picks

I know, I know, I’m a day late to the Amazon Prime Day party…but I’m here and ready to share my top picks for the second day of the sale.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is actually a 2 day sale this year! It started yesterday (oops) and goes through end of day today. The Prime Day sale is only open to prime members. So if you are not a member, you will have to sign up for prime. If you aren’t ready to commit to a one year membership, you can sign up for a 30 day trial and still get access to the sale!

The sale is a little bit different from say the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, which I also have a full post about here. The Prime Day sale has some items that are on sale throughout the whole time, but it also has what I would call “flash sales” where items are only on sale for a select amount of time. This means that you need to be diligently checking the website to make sure you don’t miss a sale. But there’s also a better alternative to that – you can “watch” an upcoming sale and be notified when it goes live so that you’re ready to shop!

Why shop the sale?

Prime Day includes sales from every category and department on Amazon. This is a great time to purchase those expensive electronics that never go on sale (hello iRobot!).

And in case you haven’t noticed, Amazon has seriously upped their fashion game. They have tons of amazing women’s and men’s clothing, shoes, accessories, and handbags. I have purchased quite a few items from Amazon and especially love their women’s dresses (pictured above and linked below).
