New Year’s Eve Ready!
Leith Wrap Sweater // Bishop + Young Sequin Mini // Stuart Weitzman Over the Knee Boots
It’s that time of the month where we are all probably freaking out about what to wear for New Year’s Eve. Since we are more than half way through December, we are closing out on the rest of the year pretty quickly. So, I’ve partnered up with Nordstrom to bring you my favorite New Year’s Eve outfit and get you New Year’s Eve ready.
Got the outfit, now what to do?
The funny thing is, I have the perfect New Year’s Eve outfit, but honestly no plans yet! My friends and I always seem to procrastinate hard core when it comes to New Year’s plans. I think we all want to do something fun, but we don’t want to spend a ton of money, wait in long lines and pay 3x surge pricing for Ubers. This leaves us with little options in the city of Chicago. This year, we debated going to my lake house for a more low key celebration. Anyway, that is all still TBD, but at least my outfit is ready to go!
All about sequins
Sequins are all of the rage as we get into the holiday season. I love how you can mix them into any type of outfit. This sequin mini just screams New Year’s. Since it is going to be freezing in Chicago, I paired it with a long sleeve sweater and over the knee boots. This skirt would also look amazing with a silk cami and booties. I just know that I will freeze if I show too much skin! I found everything I’m wearing at Nordstrom – which has definitely become my favorite place to shop. I used to think it was too expensive for me, but I’ve found so many amazing brands that are affordable and amazing quality. My boots were definitely a splurge, but they are going to last me forever! I love that I can find a mix of both affordable fashion and splurge worthy staples at Nordstrom.
You can shop my exact outfit by clicking the below images. I also included some gorgeous camisoles that would look amazing with my sequin skirt. P.S. – this post is sponsored by Nordstrom, which is super exciting for me because I absolutely love Nordstrom and love working with them.
xoxo,
Whit
