Jeans and a T-Shirt ALWAYS
If you have been following me for a while, you know that I am all about finding a way to dress up jeans and a t-shirt. I have realized that my style continues to evolve and shift towards comfortable styles. I hate wearing something that I feel physically uncomfortable in. This could be a shirt that is too tight and makes me self-conscious or a dress that continues to ride up whenever I walk or move. Which likely leads me to constantly purchase cute tees to pair with my denim. I’d say my style is more casual – but I do love a reason to get dressed up – and definitely very monochromatic. It’s funny to think about things I used to purchase and wear compared to what I buy and wear now. Since I’m loving any pair of distressed denim and pretty much all of the cute and comfy tees, I’ve put together a roundup of some of my favorites below. Pair any of these t-shirts with a pair of the denim, add some heels and the right accessories and you are ready for a night out! That’s what I love about jeans and a t-shirt.
T-shirts can be considered casual, but when you add the right accessories, you can completely change the look of it. I took this same black V-neck tee and added a blazer to dress it up. By wearing heels with my jeans instead of sneakers, I look like I’m ready for a night out.
Key Pieces to Invest In
I’ve invested in a few key accessories over time and you’ll begin to see that I wear these all of the time. This is another style tip that I always stress – invest in classic pieces that you will wear forever. My bag and belt take this jeans and tee look to another level. Both the bag and my belt will never go out of style. Yes – they were more expensive, but the other items I’m wearing are much more affordable. I can pair these accessories back to pretty much anything in my wardrobe and they can totally change the look of something.
